Why should visitors trust you? Because you say so?

Most sites would perform better with the addition of more credibility factors. Cultivating a trustworthy brand image will convince more people to try out your product, and can make them more comfortable sharing it with others.

Some examples of credibility signs are:

  • Testimonials
  • Logos
  • Security seals
  • Social proof (Likes, Tweets, etc.)

Sprinkling elements of credibility throughout your site can do wonders for conversions. If you think your site may have weak trust signals, include at least one element of credibility in a highly visible part of your site.
