Free trials are great.
Or, are they?
When you give a customer a free trial, you’re paying for them to use your product. They consume your resources, and you provide them happily because they may end up becoming a customer, or not.
Instead, switch your free trial to an extended money back guarantee. Give customers 60-90 days to decide if the product is right for them and charge them from day one. 60 days in, customers will have paid twice as much compared to a 30-day free trial.
Furthermore, customers often prefer the longer paid trial period because they have additional time to make a decision (despite paying more).
